Muncie, Indiana – February 1, 2024 – PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union was granted approval by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) to expand its charter, and therefore its field-of-membership to include those individuals who live, work, worship, or go to school in any part of Delaware, Madison, Henry, Hamilton, and Hancock Counties. Starting February 1, 2024, residents of these communities will have access to PrimeTrust’s diverse range of financial products and services designed to help them achieve their financial goals.
“We are excited to be able to offer our products and services to these additional counties,” said Tim Pierce, CEO and President of PrimeTrust. “We want to hear their stories, offer our solutions, and have them be financially better today than they were yesterday.”
The expansion into Madison, Henry, Hamilton, and Hancock counties marks a significant milestone in PrimeTrust’s growth journey. The credit union is confident that its commitment to member service, affordable financial solutions, and community engagement will resonate with residents in these new markets. This expansion also builds on a unique partnership that PrimeTrust has forged with Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana. This program allows residents of Blackford, Grant, Jay, Randolph, and Wabash counties to become a member of PrimeTrust when donating to Second Harvest Food Bank.
With its focus on member education and financial literacy, PrimeTrust also provides valuable resources to help individuals and families make informed financial decisions.
"We're not just expanding our service area, we're building relationships," said Lorraine Tomlin, Executive Vice President of Commercial Services at PrimeTrust. "We understand that each community has its own unique needs and aspirations, and we're committed to working closely with residents and businesses to develop tailored financial solutions that support their specific goals."
